hows it work?

Nope the bard has to be there and the area is going to repop. Most bards
have a spirit watcher, and when the spirit says 1 tick to pop they start
singing. If the area is No-Pop when ppl in it, then they song is usless.

Hes correct that it is a useless song in area's that don't repop with people in it.
To use it, you have to be singing the song AT the mob you want it to effect, when the actual repop occurs. It does not effect the entire area, only the mobs in the room you are singing.
